Art   versus   Modern Culture

The main idea:

All art work that will be accepted or faved will be:
4 basic colours red, blue, white, black.

Red = Action, confidence, courage, vitality.
Blue = Youth, spirituality, truth, peace.
White = Purity, Cleanliness.
Black = Death, earth, stability. ( Also lack of light, or observant of all colours )

All art forms will be accepted as long as they are minimum and consist of one or more or all of the above colours.

Literature will be accepted but not all. Read further about the core values of this group to understand what kind of art and literature will be accepted.

Core values:

Our generation is passive, we do not react anymore. We accept. We want equality, good point yes. But somehow we have forgotten the nowadays thin line between right and wrong. Do we still dream of freedom? We presume we have it. Slowly our society is becoming less educated.

Do you want to live in a world where...

... people think the city you live in is a country? ( Some people actually think Amsterdam is a country -honestly- ) ?
... people don't actually know the truth of our heroes or so-called heroes? ( Che Guevara had a pretty face so does Jude Law is that really a reason to be proud of ) ?
... music is an adaptation of the music our parents used to listen to? ( There is so much good music out there why dwell on the Stones, Doors etc. leave them in peace in their time ) .
... art is restricted as it might offend other people's beliefs? ( Freedom of speech is what we always strife for, really ) ?
... Plato is Turkish, philosophy was initiated by the British, Hitler was a musician, Leonardo Da Vinci was a woman, Elvis was an alien? .
... family values are obsolete?
... love is considered a weakness? (Spending your life with only one person is considered ridiculous) ?
... nobody reads?
... feeling anything is considered a cry for help a theatrical attempt for attention?
... racism exists? ( We have almost settled the difference between our skin colour, there is so much more brother ) .
... Paris Hilton is 'it' and the rest of us want to be like her? (Even the sentence is perverted) .
... parts of history are removed from school books as some religions claimed it never happened? ( Think of the holocaust ) .
... smoking is the biggest crime? ( Children are starving in parts of the world in other parts they are being molested, is it really a problem if I smoke when my neighbour is beaten to a coma because he is gay) ?

This is just a summary of living in a world where...

Call us naive call us anything you like but we are still of the few who believe they can change the world through art. At least we are willing to try. Don't be passive, don't accept what is thrown at you. React. Our generation is depending on it. One person CAN make the difference.

If you believe... as long as there are a few poets, romantics, writers, artists, heartbroken, fools... anything can happen.

Don't lose faith just because it keeps on raining and you still haven't found someone to talk to, God's love is always with you, even for the Atheists who constantly want to explain why they don't believe.
